Day 28 - Recycle Event

Dh took a whole Suburban load to a Recycle event in our city. He took 8 big black bags of construction debris, along with another 8 or so bags of insulation. He also took a few electronics items including a fax machine, a broken CD player, and our old broken digital camera. A couple days later we found an old broken toaster we meant to take but it got lost in a black hole corner of the garage. Whoops!

Lots of cities have reycle events at least once a year. You should visit your city's website and see when you might have one. Ours takes construction debris, wood, cement, prescription drugs, and anything that plugs in among other things. I am so thankful for this service that keeps us from putting things in the landfill!
